As a hosted service, this business VoIP service is available at any location with a suitable internet connection.
As a rule of thumb, your connection should provide 100/100Kbps throughput speeds per active call, with less than 4ms jitter. To test your internet connection, you can do a simple PING test.
You should get results of:
Line Quality of Good or above
MOS of 4 or above
Ping of less than 100 ms
Packet Loss of 0%
Even with good results from a PING test, several factors may affect the quality of your calls. If you are a heavy data user or if you require 6 or more extensions, a dedicated internet connection may be required to support your bandwidth requirements.
There is no minimum contract term for this service.
The total minimum cost for this service will depend on your selected plan.

OneConnect® is a self-installed business VoIP service.
Alltel provided hardware are tested and pre-configured before being shipped out to customers, requiring zero touch setup. Instructions are provided to guide you or your IT service provider with the physical setup of your phone.
Accounts are setup remotely, and log-in details are provided once hardware delivery is confirmed. Test calls and a walkthrough of the portal will be conducted once your call flow is confirmed.
All hardware is purchased separately. Alltel offers a wide range of IP handsets and headsets for purchase. These phones are plug-and-play, and are not network locked.
Note that if you choose to Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), our team will need the make and model of your phone and the MAC Address to check if it meets minimum system requirements.
We cannot guarantee the compatibility of phones not purchased through Alltel. Support for hardware purchased through other vendors is not provided.
Number porting charges apply if you wish to transfer existing landline or VoIP numbers to your OneConnect® service.
OneConnect® may not be appropriate if you require access to 000 or other emergency services. This service will not function in the event of a power failure. Priority Assistance is also not available with this service.
No relocation fees apply if you wish to move your service to a new location.
To ensure that your service will work after moving offices, call us at 1300 255 835 to update your information. Our solutions specialists will assist you with testing your phones and connection to ensure the viability of your service at your new location.
There are no early termination charges for this service. However, a 30 day advance written notice is required to terminate your service.
